Sam Michel is a 2025 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Gainesville, VA who attends Battlefield. Tall and broad frame with projection remaining. Ran a 7.73 in the sixty yard dash. A primary pitcher, has some rhythm with a small hip turn and controlled stride down the slope. Deeper hand path on the back side and a lower 3/4 release. Arm side run to the fastball and stayed mostly away. When extended the breaking ball showed sharp two plane break. Will continue to jump as he adds strength and consistency with the delivery. A secondary outfielder, waits back and reads hops before working through with a quicker release. A left-handed hitter, spread stance with a simple stride to launch. Compact turn with a direct hand path. Middle approach and looks to lift, on time with the barrel. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
