Declan Rivero is a 2024 SS/RHP/IF with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Palmdale, CA who attends Home school. Featrues an athletic build with strength present. Ran a 7.16 60-yard dash. Primary infielder. Athleticism plays well on the dirt. Can move well laterally with the ability to range in both directions. Flashed solid glove actions when under control. High efffort throws reached 82 mph during workouts. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes a calm setup into a toe tap timing mechanism. Stays under control throughout swings while showing quick hand speed. Can get extended well out front and create carry on balls. Apporach consistently works gap to gap. Has intriguing upside at the plate. Right-handed pitcher. Athleticism allows for mechanics to be repeated well. Uses the lower half well down the mound. Throws from a 3/4 slot using a long arm action. Fastball got up to 80 mph with armside run. Flashed a low-70’s cutter as well. Still developing the ability to throw strikes consistently. Excellent student.
