Gage Hinnant is a 2022 OF/RHP with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Petal, MS who attends Petal. Medium frame with a lean and athletic build. Ran a 6.90 second 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, showed clean actions to and through the ball, maintains a good line working through it and carries momentum into strong and accurate throws with good carry to bags. Also pitched, works through a compact three-quarters arm slot generating some run to the arm side on the fastball and is developing feel for a bigger breaking ball. Switch-hitter, showed more control of the barrel on the right side with good whip through the zone and consistently well-struck contact. Able to generate more lift and leverage from the left side but is developing consistency of the barrel. Great student.
