Stephen Savedra is a 2025 SS/C, 2B with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Queen Creek, AZ who attends Desert Ridge. Medium athletic build. Ran the 60-yard dash in 7.05 seconds. Primary infielder, showed some athleticism, moved well to both sides of the ball, Worked through the ball with smooth hands and quick feet, moves to quick and has a tendency to lose body control. Was clocked up to 72 mph with good carry, still developing the accuracy. Also worked out behind the plate, works from a slight side saddle base, displayed a smoot quick transfer gaining ground on throws down to second base. Clocked a 2.26 pop time. At the plate, hits from an upright narrow open stance, displayed a quick swing with a downward hand path. Consistently drove the ball back up the middle of the field. Good student.
