Mason Duckworth is a 2023 RHP/1B with a 6-3 145 lb. frame from Ball Ground, GA who attends Creekview. Recorded a 7.82 second sixty yard dash time. Medium frame and wiry build with plenty of room to fill. Primary right-handed pitcher, works exclusively from the stretch with a simple up and down delivery. Utilizes a short take back, coils the arm some and shows developing arm speed/strength. Fastball has significant sink to it, especially on the arm side. Flashed a slow breaking ball with some shape to it, will need to spin it harder to see more a depth and sharp action. Key to his development will be gaining strength and filling out the frame. Right-handed hitter with an even stance and a high hand and back elbow set, utilizes a toe tap trigger. Shows a busy hand load and a downhill swing path with limited loft, could even out the path more for better contact. Displayed a middle of the field approach during his round and used his lower half well within the swing. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
