Max Jarvie is a 2024 RHP/3B, SS with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Wilton, CT who attends Wilton. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 6.97 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, works with a full windup on the mound, long arm action through the backside working to a three-quarters release point, uses length well to generate downhill plane, pounds the strike zone and pitches to contact. Fastball topped out at 78 mph, command improved throughout outing. Mixed a curveball with 12-6 shape and occasional bite up to 66 mph, developed feel for pitch towards end of outing. Fields the ball out front in the infield, plays back on the ball, extra step moving into release on throws across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, begins with an upright stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate, utilizes a toe tap trigger for timing. Shows bat speed through the zone, works to the middle of the field with comfort, lofted stroke, elements of swing project well moving forward. Very good student.
