Bentley Smith is a 2028 RHP/C/3B with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Boaz, AL who attends Douglas. Medium build. Primary pitcher. Athletic mover down the hill with lift to core height, lands in line. Short arm action matches the up tempo delivery. Fastball plays true and pairs well with his big curveball that showed quality depth on occasion, Changeup is above avergae with solid arm side fade to it. Behind the plate, sets up in a high side saddle crouch working hard to gain ground post reception. From ear release with decent zip for the age. In the infield, corner type actions with decent first step quickness. Arm plays with ample carry across the diamond. In the outfield, he is methodical in apporach to the fielding point, glove works out front. Clean arm action with decent strength, carry and , accuracy to both bases. Right-handed hitter, sets up in a tall even stance. Works direct to the ball with an under control line drive oriented approach. Hits hard off the front side and the natural strength shine through at times. 7.82 60-yard. Outstanding student.
