Adam Stothard is a 2022 RHP/3B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Los Altos, CA who attends Los Altos. Medium frame with a lean build and plenty of room to fill out. Ran a 7.36 second 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, has good balance through his operation, works quick and explosive to release with a longer arm stroke but good present arm speed. Extends well out front and generates good running life to the fastball. Maintains arm speed well on the changeup as he gets short tumble at the plate while also showing feel for a true downer-breaking curveball with great depth. Also worked out in the infield, rounds the ball well and funnels it cleanly to a loose arm action that generates some carry on throws across. Right-handed hitter, shows good quickness and looseness to the swing working on a level path and projects well with added strength.
