2022 Northwest Prospect Showcase
Brandon Berg is a 2023 RHP/1B with a 5-8 210 lb. frame from Maple Valley, WA who attends Tahoma Senior. Compact frame with present size and physicality. Ran a 8.15 in the 60-yard dash. Right-handed pitcher, modified windup and fundamental three-quarter arm slot. Medium arm circle produces a solid high-70s fastball that rides through the top of the zone well. Shows feel for a developing slurvy breaker with good spin efficiency. Right-handed hitter, slightly tilted from a high hand set barrel works to both gaps. Muscles balls well with good strength and impact. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
