Adan Diaz is a 2026 SS/RHP, C, 2B, 3B, MIF, IF, UT with a 5-7 125 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends Klein Collins. Posted a 7.80 in the 60. Primary SS with a developing build. He showed some progressing athleticism in the position, softer actions but moves well and works through the play with a quick release. At backstop there is good balance present. Some younger tendencies still show, should continue to get more lower half as he matures. On the mound he was to 73 with the fastball and flashed a developing breaking ball. The release is loose from a low 3/4 slot providing some run action on the fastball. Young delivery should see plenty of refining ahead of him. RIght-handed hitter looked smooth with the bat showing a great feel for the barrel to build on. Stays on plane and gets extended through contact easility, solid moving pieces in the swing to project on as he adds impact and a strong base. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
