2020 14U Fall South Showcase
Vaughan McIntyre is a 2025 C/3B/OF with a 5-4 120 lb. frame from Yukon, OK who attends Southwest Covenant. Small and athletic frame with plenty of time to mature physically. Ran an 8.35 second 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, shows fundamental actions behind the dish with a solid foundation for added strength as he gains ground well and has some looseness overall. Also worked out in both the infield and outfield with athleticism to his movements, takes long strides to the ball and fields it cleanly with good intent. Arm strength plays better from the outfield at present. Left-handed hitter, sets up slightly open with high hands and a high back elbow. Starts on a level path and works to lift the ball at the contact point. Has some bat to ball skills at present that will improve results off the barrel with added strength. Produced to the middle of the field.
