Matthew Perran is a 2023 OF/RHP with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Woodinville, WA who attends Woodinville. He has a good frame with room to add strength. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.17 seconds. Primary outfielder that fields the ball cleanly out in front of his body. He has a longer arm action that is fluid and is able to generate nice carry on his throws. Offensively, he starts in a wide, squatty stance with his hands out from his body a little bit. He uses a quick leg lift trigger for timing. He has a rotational swing with a steep path that is direct to the ball. He showed the ability to create nice back spin on his line drives back up the middle. He looks to pull the ball and showed nice power potential with his strong hands when he makes contact out in front of the plate. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
