Connor Gries is a 2026 C/RHP, 1B, 3B, OF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Henderson, NV who attends Coronado. A bigger frame with some present strength. Ran an 8.62 60-yard dash. In the outfield he charges the baseball aggressively, developing fundamentals working through the baseball there and a shorter arm action when making throws. Choppy actions at first base with developing glovework and makes accurate throws on balls fielded cleanly. Behind the plate he has a side saddle set up, stands straight up on throws with some accuracy and developing arm strength. Hits from an even base at the plate, takes his hands direct to the baseball, arm bars occasionally but still generates some barrel speed through the zone. Not much use of the lower half and struggles to maintain balance throughout the swing.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
