Jentz Steiner is a 2024 3B/RHP/MIF with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Holly Springs, NC who attends Apex Friendship. Medium, stocky build with obvious strength to the frame. 7.62 runner in the sixty-yard dash. Primary third baseman, athletic actions on the dirt. Fields the ball out front with good hands and fundamentally sound footwork. Showed the ability to throw from different arm angles with carry across the diamond. Profiles well at second base long term. Right-handed hitter with a tall, upright stance with a slightly open front side. Knee lift trigger stride to get the front side closed, line drive approach to both gaps. Generates good bat speed and barrel whip through the zone. Got the barrel extended later in the round, gap-to-gap power. Secondary right-handed pitcher, offset start from the first base side of the rubber, side steps to a high leg lift, drops and drives directly to the dish. Will open the front side early on occasion, causing him to miss glove-side. Fastball had straight lift, up to 80 mph (1884 RPM). Curveball with two planed shaped was mixed, up to 67 mph (1957 RPM). Aggressively attacks hitters on the mound. Excellent Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
