Darrien Rodriguez is a 2028 OF/RHP with a 5-8 125 lb. frame from Cape Coral, FL who attends Cape Coral. Medium frame with good length to both halves that can physically mature and fill out. Outfielder, showed a whippy three-quarter slot with solid accuracy and arm strength. Subtle carry to throws that can develop along with sound charges and funnels. Right-handed pitcher, works from the stretch and sligly open with dip-and-drive mechanics in his back leg. Has some cross fire and gets over front side well. Looser arm from a three-quarter slot, fastball has late sink and comes out of hand quick. Curveball continues to develop spin and consistent shape. Right-handed hitter, high hand set and high back elbow. Shows comfort for pull-side contact and turns on the ball well. Stays tight and keeps hands inside the ball well and works the barrel out front. Solid two-way ability to develop. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
