2021 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event
Kody Collins is a 2023 RHP/ with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Statesboro, GA who attends Georgia Premier Academy. Strongly build frame with well-proportioned physicality throughout. Primary right-handed pitcher who only pitched during the event. Leg lift at the belt and hands pump at the gather point. Three-quarters slot with a short, clean arm stroke. Hides the ball well and generates lots of run and sink on the fastball that topped out at 88 mph. Uncoils lower half well and has good feel for sweeping breaking ball. Can throw the breaking ball for both strikes and whiffs. Attacked with mostly fastballs and showed feel for working to both the glove and arm side. Good student. Named to the 2021 Main Event TP List.
