Owen Gore is a 2026 MIF/OF with a 5-10 130 lb. frame from Wilmington, NC who attends Emsley A Laney. Medium frame with long, lean musculature and plenty of time and room to add. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.48 seconds. Primary position IF, getting nicely into his base and showing good mobility. Quick first step to go with smooth glove work that plays with confidence. Feel for the spot for sure, and the arm works showing feeds across the diamond up to 80 mph. Reps in the OF as well, looking the part here too. Gets to the ball quickly with glove out front and clean transfer to quick and compact arm action. Throws up to 80 mph here as well with solid one-hop accuracy. RHH starting wide in his legs and utilizes quite pre-pitch stride with very little load. Direct path to impact and turns hard in the core creating plenty of bat speed. On the barrel consistently, repeating mechanics with advanced middle of the field approach. Projectable hit tool with solid defensive foundation already. Extremely advanced in the classroom too.
