Nicholas Garces is a 2022 RHP with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Pinecrest, FL who attends Christopher Columbus. Medium frame with a very lean build. Righthanded pitcher only, only pitched at this event. Methodical and slower-paced delivery, long arm action through the back and extends well out front with good arm speed to project on. Fastball comes out of the hand well as he generates excellent run and sink to the arm side with it into the low-80s. Also showed good feel for a hard and tight breaking ball with 12-to-6 depth in the mid-70s making for a solid secondary offering. Clean two-pitch mix that projects with physical gains. Great student.
