2022 Spring Midwest Workout Showcase (April 22)
Drew Brauch is a 2024 MIF/OF with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Waukee, IA who attends Dowling Catholic. Recorded a 7.09 second sixty yard dash time. Long and lanky frame with tons of room to fill, good physical projection as he grows and gets stronger. Primary middle infielder, circles the ball well and gets into good fielding positions, fields it out front with a clean funnel to the center. Moves well to both sides, bends at the waist to field and stays low through the throw. Fundamentally sound on the infield, showed some athleticism on the charge. Right-handed hitter with a wide base and bent knee stance, utilizes a toe tap trigger. Quick hands with an uphill bat path and a long finish, shifts his weight well and shows present bat speed. Found some line drive contact during his round, impact potential will continue to improve as he gets stronger. Excellent student.
