Hunter Boring is a 2023 3B/RHP/SS with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Aliquippa, PA who attends Central Valley. Boring works from a medium athletic build as a primary 3B, flashing the glove early with direct footwork through the baseball. He displayed soft hands and repeated the arm action well across the diamond producing accurate throws up to 82 mph. On the bump, the righty worked exclusively from the stretch utilizing a 3/4 slot and overall compact delivery to extend down the mound with a FB up to 83 mph. Command is continuing to refine with feel for a sweeping breaker also present in the arsenal around 1904 rpm. Offensively, Boring worked from both boxes, starting from the right side where he showcased a high hand set and high back elbow with intent to create impact out in front and generate lift in the bat path. He was looser from the left side with hand speed through the zone present. Attempted to use all parts of the field. Posted an exit velo of 81 mph. Ran a 7.36 sixty yard dash.
