Matteo Nolasco is a 2025 C/OF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Long Grove, IL who attends Adlai Stevenson. Recorded a 7.95 second sixty yard dash time. Medium frame and slender build with room to fill. Primary catcher with a low and even set up, replaces his feet and gains some ground towards second base, steps very long with the front foot. Long and drawn-out arm action through the back, arm does not catch up with his body at times. Throws downhill, can improve by keeping his body directional with the target. Right-handed hitter with a knee to knee load, really coils into the back hip well and swings hard. Lots of movement within the swing, uses his body well to generate power. Showed a pull side approach with present bat speed on a flat path, definite strength present. Hit the ball hard and produced some loud barrels in BP and in the games, projects for more power moving forward. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
