Aiden Smith is a 2026 SS/RHP/IF with a 5-5 115 lb. frame from Abingdon, VA who attends Abingdon. Young slender build with lots of growing ahead of him. Right handed hitter, hits from a still hand start with a short lower half shift into contact, can develop more hand and upper body rhythm in to his swing, short downhill swing, bat speed will continue to improve with additional strength and physical maturity. 8.34 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, moves to the ball well on defense and has a young idea of footwork, works hard and aggressively, developing arm strength. Also pitched, simple turn and throw delivery with a compact arm action and a high 3/4's arm slot, stays on top of the ball well. Worked in the mid-60's with his fastball, also threw a slow curveball with some shape to it.
