Manuel Santana is a 2028 IF/RHP/3B with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Hialeah, FL, who attends Mater Academy. A medium frame with a lean & slender build. Room to keep filling out the frame moving forward. Ran a 7.94 60-yard dash. Primary infielder who worked out at the position, moving well up the middle with some snatch to the hands, throws that were at 71 mph across the field. Has a longer arm stroke through release with good actions on the charge, working toward release. A right-handed hitter with a wider base and open feet. High set hands and a high back elbow. He's quick to it with a short path, rotating through contact, turning it over well in his round of BP. Repeats the actions well, and had some well-hit balls back up the middle into centerfield during his round of BP. A right-handed pitcher with a rocker step and over-the-head pump, as he gets into his leg lift around the belt. Has a shorter arm stroke through release. The fastball worked up to 70 mph with some arm-side run to it. Showed a changeup in his outing on the mound as well. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
