Triston Freeman is a 2024 OF/2B with a 5-10 148 lb. frame from Cerro Gordo, NC who attends West Columbus. Long lean, athletic build with plenty of room to add physicality and overall strength. Ran the 60 yard dash in a solid 7.01 seconds. Primary position OF, attacking the ball with proper angles as he works the glove out front and slightly off to the side. Crow hop as he squares up and uses a full inline arm path to generate throws up to 77 mph with accuracy. Secondary IF, moving well on his feet and displaying solid lateral mobility. Really works through the ball and showed pretty nice hands. Same longer arm path here with online throws at 73 mph. Did a solid job on the slow roller play too. RHH working from an even stance and a good handset to help with his short path to the ball. Hands are quick and really work the barrel to impact. Pull oriented approach and really turns the core. Consistent hard, line drive contact and solid feel for the barrel.
