Ayden Benson is a 2023 RHP/OF with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Rogers, AR who attends Shiloh Christian. Taller frame with a medium build, and athleticism present. Primary pitcher who works from a low/sidearm slot. He starts square on the mound with a low hand set and controls his delivery well, especially with the abnormal arm slot. He created some very tough looks for hitters, running his fastball up to 81 mph, holding 78-80 mph. His slider was in the upper-60s and spun around 2090 RPM with sweep to the pitch. He commands the inner half of the zone well, especially to right-handed hitters. A solid all-around performance from the Fort Scott CC commit. Very good student.
