Conner McTighe is a 2023 C/RHP/IF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Butler, PA who attends Butler Area. Medium athletic build with square shoulders and room for plenty more strength. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance, has good rhythm in his load and trigger, line drive swing plane, gets good extension and separation through the ball, consistent barrel contact with a gap to gap approach, consistent mechanics and timing, good hitting approach to continue to grow into as he gets stronger. 7.59 runner in the sixty. Game actions in drills behind the plate, sets up low and has good footwork into his throws, makes very accurate throws with some carry to them, can get out of his crouch faster. Excellent student.
