Alex Fiore is a 2027 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Marlboro, NJ who attends Christian Brothers Academy. Medium build. In the outfield, he is methodical in approach to the fielding point. The arm shows speed and creates solid carry to both bases. Fluid round start to finish. At first base, he shows decent footwork off the bag with in rhtyhm throws to front end the 3-6-3. Right handed hitter, sets up with wide base and square stance. Initial move in a hovering leg kick with level path to contact. Made mostly line drive contact through the gaps. Could benefit from futher utilization of the lower half. On the mound, its a stretch only operation with shorter takeback and release from a three-quarters slot. Methodical delivery with slight crossfire nature due to the closed off landing, led to some command inconsistencies. Fastball plays true. The breaker is of the overhand 11-5 variety, easier to identify out of the hand at the present velocity. Saw a changeup that showed subtle arm side fade. It is not laborious in terms of effort but there's plenty to project on with clean up to a few things. 7.60 60-yard. Outstanding student.
