Brian Oakley is a 2024 1B/RHP, 3B with a 6-5 235 lb. frame from Fuquay Varina, NC who attends Fuquay-Varina. Extra Large frame with filled out build, showing strength throughout. Ran a 8.70 second sixty yard dash. Primary First Baseman, feel for the glove showing scooping up throws during workouts. Proper fundamentals fielding the baseball keeping it in front of him. Accurate throws while turning two. Profile and skillset matches the first base position well. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, sidestep into a higher lift out of the windup. Shorter stride out before releasing from a higher slot. Downhill angle and making it difficult for hitters. Effort in the release but maintained good command. Fastball up to 83 mph with spin rates just over 2,000 rpm. Slider in the low-70's with slight vertical bite. Projectable on the mound with his size and feel for the arsenal. Right-Handed Hitter, wider base to start with high hands. Strides out while creating separation. Goes after the baseball with intent. Massive power when he squares it up. Good looseness to the swing and makes sure to get the hands extended. High level power already present. Good Student. Named to National Underclass Showcase-Main Event Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
