Deshawn Morgan is a 2024 RHP/OF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Acworth, GA who attends North Paulding. Medium athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. Works from the stretch, drifting delivery with a cross body release out front, not consistent in his timing this outing. Fastball topped out at 92 mph, maintained low 90's well, fastball plays straight, fastball command more impacted by his delivery than his slider. Slider was a good pitch for him, big sweeping break, has confidence in his slider and throws it often. Good student, verbal commitment to Georgia.
