Nicholas Okay is a 2026 RHP/C/1B/OF with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Kinnelon, NJ who attends Don Bosco Prep. Long, lean frame with a high waist and plenty of room to add strength moving forward. Recorded a 7.72 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary right-handed pitcher that worked from a full windup delivery with a higher leg lift into balance and shorter stride out to foot strike. Fastball worked in the upper-60s for the majority of his outing, ticking up into the low-70s on occasion and topped out at 72 mph from a three-quarters arm slot. Strike thrower with developing command and feel for pitching. Mixed in slower 11-5 shaped breaking ball with gradual depth. Will continue to enhance repertoire with mechanical adjustments and additional velocity. Secondary first baseman with deliberate footwork throughout the fielding process. Showed some range to either side and made fairly quick turns to throw. Recorded accurate throws up to 68 mph during drills. Took part in the outfield portion of the defensive workout, where he showed similar deliberate pace to his actions. Fields cleanly off his front foot, works uphill into release and produced fairly accurate throws up to 71 mph. Right-handed hitter that hits from a wide, slightly open stance with a tight hand set, high back elbow and subtle weight shift into contact. Contact oriented swing with middle-of-the field approach and developing feel for the barrel. Displayed consistent bat-to-ball skills with slight downhill swing path and best impact to the middle and opposite field. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength.
