Cody Texter is a 2027 C/RHP/IF with a 5-6 130 lb. frame from Magnolia, TX who attends Magnolia. Medium frame with a young and lean build. Ran an 8.17 second 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, slightly turned setup and gets up quick, gains good ground through quick exchange, showed solid accuracy to the bag. Plays infield too, good mover, athletic and under control with balance and ability to funnel well with soft hands, good glove work on the move and up to 79 across. Pitches too, simple delivery and shorter stride length, fastball plays well to the arm side and showed good spin and tilt on a slider. Right-handed hitter, open setup and short move in, longer swing on a linear plane, showed some impact to the middle of the field that he can project on.
