Jagger Batek is a 2027 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Corpus Christi, TX who attends Calallen. Broad shouldered athletic build with good present strength. Right handed hitter, hits from a balanced stance, gets into his lower half well and works from the ground up, fires his hips, has easy natural lift to his swing and creates separation through contact, strength plays in his swing. 8.04 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, has a soft glove and fields the ball cleanly, lowered his slot well on his throws, made all the plays. Took a turn on the mound, works from a full wind up with a high 3/4's arm slot, long through the back, some effort at release. Fastball was in the upper 70's with some sinking action. Slider was a good pitch for him with some bite and depth, can throw his slider more often. Very good student. Named to the 14U Texas All-State Games Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
