Luke Sheets is a 2025 OF/1B/3B with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Sanford, NC who attends Lee County. Medium current frame with good muscular development and strong lower half. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.17 seconds. Primary OF taking clean routes to the ball, working to the side with the glove to deep funnel transfer. Deep inline arm path producing throws up to 78 mph to bags with solid carry and accuracy. Reps at 1B as well, showing feel around the bag with deliberate glove work and ability to throw from varying slots based on demands of the play. RHH working from a wide stance and good hand set to start. Displayed excellent hand speed, did create some length in path from time to time but there is juice in the swing. Best contact when on time and in the middle of the field. Also worked on the mound, RHP, using medium leg lift to reach balance and breaking hands at the belt leading to a full inline arm path. Gets on top of ball well, working very linear down the slope and working nicely vertical into front side. High level strike thrower using high 3/4 arm angle to create low-70's FB and mid-60's CB both with average spin profiles and time for further development. Extremely advanced in the classroom.
