Luke Colston is a 2027 OF/RHP with a 5-11 135 lb. frame from Wrightsville, GA who attends Georgia Premier Academy. Medium, square shouldered frame with long limbs and a lean build, room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran an 8.16 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, plays back on the ball and fields it to the side, utilizes a crow hop moving into release, longer arm action through the backside, works around the intended base with throws. Also pitched, full delivery on the mound with a side step moving into a moderate leg lift; compact arm action through the back side working to a high three-quarters release point. Fastball topped out at 70 mph, worked exclusively off of it, comes down the mound well and comes out clean with best command coming to the glove side. Right-handed hitter, begins with a spread lower half in the box and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Swings with intent, linear to downward path through the zone, handsy swing and keeps them tight, can simplify movements in box moving forward.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
