2023 Jr. National Showcase
Casey Carpenter is a 2025 3B/1B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Bel Air, MD who attends John Carroll. Strong athletic build. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread and open stance, late barrel tilt to start his swing, throws his hands hard at the ball, flashes bat speed and impact when he's on time and gets the barrel out front, bat will continue to improve as he works on his timing and consistency. 7.17 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, stays back and gets behind the ball well, good footwork in his transition and into his throws, has a short and compact arm action, threw well on the move, solid fundamentals that he executes well. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
