Ricardo Rodriguez is a 2023 3B/SS with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Salt Lake City, UT who attends West. Medium frame with young build; ran 60 yard dash in 8.17 seconds. Hits from even, spread stance with hands set at chest, toe tap trigger, simple shift with barrel turn on linear plane, makes consistent contact with whole-field approach. Worked out in the infield, hands late out front into funnel, long arm stroke with full windup into throws across diamond, clocked up to 68 mph. Also pitched, throws from 3/4 slot, fastball worked 66-68 mph with good life to arm side, mixed in a curveball as well, threw strikes. Good student.
