Robert Lawrence Jr is a 2026 C/RHP/UT with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Pine Bush, NY who attends Pine Bush Senior. Works from a taller, lean frame with a high waist and plenty of room to add strength. Primary catcher, started in a high set, gained some ground with the lower-half, displayed high effort, released the ball with some quickness, throws were kept around the bag. Recorded a pop-time of 2.07 and arm strength up to 70 mph. On the mound, the right-hander started his operation from the third base side of the rubber with a high hand-set, displayed a step in front to a chest-high leg lift, broke the hands in front of his face, worked through a shallow arm path. Fastball topped at 72 mph with an occasional curveball in the low-sixties. Right-handed hitter, began in an upright, even base, impacting baseballs primarily to the middle of the field, hands remained tight, swing path became slashy at times with the front-side pulling off slightly. Ran a 3.99 thirty-yard dash. Excellent student. Named to the New York Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
