Shane Rogers is a 2026 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-4 175 lb. frame from Graham, NC who attends Southern Alamance. Long and lanky young build with lots of physical projection ahead. Works from a side step delivery with slow to fast mechanics, arm action is short and compact and hides the ball well. Fastball topped out at 82 mph but was most effective in the upper 70's, pretty straight in the zone, still developing feel for consistency in his fastball release. Change up was his best pitch this outing, maintains his arm speed well on it and gets nice late life both running and cutting at different points. Also still developing feel for his change up release point. 7.96 runner in the sixty. Plays outfield when not on the mound and showed his raw arm strength well. Left handed hitter, hits from a wide upright stance with a pull side approach. Interesting young lefty with a live arm. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
