Ben Drinkwine is a 2026 OF/1B/3B with a 6-2 194 lb. frame from Aldie, VA who attends Lightridge High School. Long, projectable frame with good current muscularity and twitchy athletic skill set with more to come. Ran the 60 yard dash in a solid 7.07 seconds. Primary position OF, working through his reps deliberately and showing solid mechanical fundamentals. Presents glove well out front into deeper midline transfer getting shorter inline arm path. Arm really played here, generating accurate throws up to 88 mph back to the infield. RHH using a balanced and even stance, higher handset with some length in his front arm. Small toe tap trigger for timing and uses loose hands to accelerate the barrel. Gets good extension when he gets on plane and isn't too steep with his hands. Core really turns hard to assist with bat speed and showed real projectable power to the pull side. Bat showed out in game play, collecting several hard hit knocks and was consistently on the barrel. Outstanding student as well. Named to the Coastal Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
