Vince Moore is a 2027 3B/RHP, IF, OF with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends La Jolla Country Day. Features a medium build with some strength present. Ran an 8.40 60-yard dash. Primary infielder. Flashed athleticism throughout defensive workouts. Creates good angles on balls in either direction. Hands caught the ball consistently. Still developing footwork through the catchpoint and into throws. Showed quality arm speed with the ability to throw accurately from multiple arm angles. More arm strength should come as the frame continues to develop. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes an even stance with a narrow base. A simple load allows the barrel to be on time consistently. Showed quality bat speed on a lofted path with feel for the barrel. Approach stays through the middle of the field. Strength combines with the lofted path to generate quality power to the pullside. Projects for even more power down the line. Also threw on the mound. Righthander pitcher. Utilizes a loose, easy delivery down the mound. Smooth arm action allows the ball to come out cleanly. Arm speed translates to the mound. The fastball sat 67-70 mph with slight sinking action. Pairs the heater with a low-60’s curveball with slurve action. Still refining the control of both offerings. Has time to continue to develop the pitch mix and velocity. Very good student. Named to the 13u/14u West Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
