Carter O'Neill is a 2024 RHP/UT with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Leander, TX who attends Rouse. Physical righty with athleticism. Primary right-handed pitcher throwing from a low 3/4 slot with whip in the arm. Quick to the plate with good tempo. Stays balanced and drives off back leg well getting downhill and in line. Follows through well with the back leg. Delivery looks really athletic using a medium sized leg raise to the plate. Fastball has late life through the zone and cuts at times. There is definitely more juice in the tank. Went to a high spinning slider with sweeping action as his main secondary with late bite. Hard to hit and pick up from the slot. Filled up the zone and threw strikes at an extremely high rate. Also flashed a change with some fade. Worked out from the outfield as well and made throws with good accuracy and carry. Has a quick arm with choppy feet and a quick transfer and release. Excellent student.
