Blake Erwin is a 2027 1B/LHP with a 5-10 192 lb. frame from Beaumont, TX. Physical build for age with present size to both halves. Ran a 8.15 in the sixty. First baseman, deeper in glove and showed sound hands. Changes slots, accuracy to the bag. Good turn for size and looked comfortable in drills. Left-handed pitcher, shorter three-quarter slot starting from middle of the rubber. Bit of arm-side run to the fastball with feel for a slurvy breaking ball. Worked inside and kept it off the barrel. Left-handed hitter, high hand set and open stance. Big intent in path with solid set of hands. Impact off the barrel played to pull side and the hands have some juice present.
