2023 WWBA Workout Showcase (Wed)
Andru Hall is a 2025 SS/RHP, IF, UT with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from King, NC who attends West Stokes High School. Solid well built frame with plenty of time to add more physicality and some life to his actions. Primary position C, working from a higher initial setup and a bit of a segmented process. On point with glove work leading to clean midline transfer before throws. Deliberate footwork, loading the arm and generating throws up to 72 mph to the bag with a pop time best 2.16 seconds. RHH starting with an open stance and using a bigger leg lift for timing as he gets off his backside nicely. Solid handset and accelerates hands directly to the ball. Middle of the field approach, Emerging overall power but the hands control the barrel creating low, line-drives in the middle of the field. Did show some power and loft to his path on a couple middle in pitches, the hit tool is here. Outstanding performer in the classroom too.
