2022 National Underclass West Showcase
Justin Steinbeck is a 2025 OF/LHP, 1B with a 5-9 135 lb. frame from Parker, CO who attends Valor Christian. Slender build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.33 seconds. Primary outfielder, lets the ball come, worked through the ball with a decent transfer. Has a longer arm action, was clocked up to 71 mph on throws from the outfield. Also worked out at first base, has a tendency to let the ball come, moved well showed decent footwork. Made soft accurate throws, the arm strength will continue to develop as he gets older. From the mound, throws from a three-quarter arm slot with a drop and drive delivery.The fastball sat 68-71 mph paired with a curveball that sat 59 mph and slight movement. At the plate, hits from a slight open stance with a leg kick, has a quick swing that gets in and out of the zone quickly with an opposite field approach. Excellent Student.
