Truett Claffey is a 2025 OF/2B with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Southlake, TX who attends Southlake Carroll. Athletic build with good size. Primary outfielder who runs well and is light on his feet. Charges the ball with intent keeping the glove down on time. Made accurate one hop throws to the bag with good aggression. Also ran a 6.72 sixty. Right-handed hitter who starts out narrow and upright in the box. Uses a short stride for timing and rhythm. Mainly sprayed the ball to the opposite field with intent. Showed some quickness in the hands as well. Good student. Also named to the PG South Central Top Prospect list.
