Ryder Costa is a 2024 SS/RHP/C with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Lake Elsinore, CA who attends Temescal Canyon. Features a lean build with athleticism. Ran a 7.65 60-yard dash. Primary infielder. Athleticism plays on the first. Showcased solid range in both directions. Caught the ball clean throughout defensive workouts. Short arm action has quality arm speed to it. Produces quality carry on accurate throws. Threw 82 mph across the infield. Displayed the ability to throw from multiple angles as well. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes a square stance with quality balance throughout. Medium leg kick shifts weight to the backside well. Swing features a direct hand path with good extension out front. Displayed solid feel for the barrel. The approach allows for the entire field to be used. Quality lower half usage helps generate some pullside power. More power should come as the frame continues to add strength. Very good student.
