2023 Deep South Prospect Showcase
Edward Henriquez is a 2025 SS/MIF with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Baton Rouge, LA who attends Catholic. Edward ran a 7.44 Sixty Yard Dash. Primary Middle infield he showed a medium athletic base with some length and more room for additional strength. He had good hands working through both sides of the ball. Clean funnel to exchange on his throws across the diamond. Shorter compact low arm action with some cary and accuracy on the throws. Right handed hitter with a narrow upright even base with a slight leg lift trigger. Cleaner loose swing with some quickness as the hips move very efficiently into contact. Works a pull side approach with some strength to the pull side as well. Henriquez is a great student.
