Brady Baird is a 2025 SS/RHP with a 5-8 176 lb. frame from Bakersfield, CA who attends Liberty. Smaller frame with some physicality to the build already Ran an 8.05 second 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, shows good footwork on the dirt and the glove works well in adjusting to the ball; funnels it cleanly with some length to his gather but became comfortable adjusting arm slot on the move to create accurate throws across. Also pitched, has a slow and steady tempo to his delivery with a short and quick arm action to release generating some run to the arm side on the fastball; pitches with minimal effort and shows more feel for the changeup than the breaking ball as he fades it well down in the zone. Left-handed hitter, sets up with his hands tight to his body, works short to contact with some lift to the path looking to pull the ball in the air; will improve overall impact as he incorporates the lower half more into the swing.
