Eduardo Hernandez is a 2023 1B/LHP with a 5-9 176 lb. frame from West Babylon, NY who attends West Babylon. Medium build with some present strength and room for more. 5.70 runner in the forty. Primary first baseman on defense, has quick and active feet and makes accurate throws with developing arm strength. Left handed hitter, hits from a narrow and slightly open stance, open long stride into his swing, some back side collapse that impacts his swing plane and creates inconsistency, mostly pull side contact. Also took a turn on the mound, slow paced delivery with a high 3/4's arm slot and a compact arm action, will hang his front leg at times to give hitters a different look, upper body delivery. Fastball topped out at 69 mph, also threw a slow curveball with occasional depth.
