Loren Young is a 2023 OF/C, 2B with a 5-7 143 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Arbor View. Compact, wiry build with athletic traits in the frame. Ran a 7.36 in the 60-yard dash. Outfielder, stays low and funnels with a clean exchange. Controls front side well with an accurate arm to the bag. Catcher, good pop in the knees throws kept downhill. Low set and short arm action. Also pitched a showed a high-70s fastball, filled up the zone from a stretch delivery. Right-handed hitter, upright stance and short base and high hand set. Good barrel control with opposite field intent. Solid all-fields approach with good quickness in the hands. Very good student.
